Today, Dr. Stafford Sheehan, Center alumnus and co-founder and CTO of the Air Company, spoke to the Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering and the Yale School of the Environment. In his talk, “Photosynthesis-inspired Conversion of Carbon Dioxide to Sustainable Aviation Fuels and Alcohols,” Dr. Sheehan reflected on his scientific work at the Air Company and his translation of scientific process to business innovation in the case of CO2-derived jet fuels and consumer products.
