EPAšs Office of Prevention, Pesticides and Toxic Substances seeks two chemists to join a creative, dynamic team of scientists supporting its regulatory and non-regulatory programs under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the Pollution Prevention Act. These positions are located in the Industrial Chemistry Branch, whose mission is to evaluate chemical and biological substances and communicate the results to scientific experts, EPA decision-makers, and the chemical industry.

Inorganic Chemist GS-11, 12, 13 ($58,206 to $107,854/yr)
General Chemist GS-11 ($58,206 to $75,669/yr)

The inorganic chemist position requires a specialty in inorganic chemistry and a strong background in organic or industrial chemistry. The other position requires a strong general background in chemistry. These positions do not involve laboratory work.
