Ph.D. Student, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Duke University, 3rd year

Visiting Assistant in Research, Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Yale University

Megan holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Union College (Schenectady, N.Y.) with a background in environmental analytical chemistry. She is interested in applications of nano-enabled materials for novel reclamation technologies for the electronics and semi-conductor industries. She focuses on building a technology capable of reclaiming and separating specialty metals (i.e., rare earth metals) for direct reuse. In the future she plans to adapt and implement this technology for additional industries, while working to scale up for real world application. In her spare time, she loves to workout and teaches spin classes at the Payne Whitney gym!
