Lindsay is a doctoral student in environmental engineering Dr. Zimmerman’s lab.  She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley in Environmental Engineering Science.  Her research interests include green engineering, analytical chemistry, as well as the fate and impacts of anthropogenic compounds in the environment.  Lindsay’s current research focus is on the furthering algal lipid as a viable, green, and renewable source for use in biodiesel production.  She intends to graduate in 2012 and hopes to pursue a career in academia.
